'Homeroom' Doc, 'Merry Wives' at the Public, 'Pappyland,' All Things Whiskey

Director Peter Nicks joins us to discuss the documentary, “Homeroom,” which follows Oakland High School’s class of 2020 over the course of a year marked by the pandemic and efforts to eliminate the school district’s police force amid the nationwide movement for racial justice. “Homeroom” premieres in select theaters and on Hulu on August 12.

Playwright Jocelyn Bioh and actors Susan Kelechi Watson and Pascale Armand join us to discuss the Public Theater's "Merry Wives," the season's free Shakespeare in the Park production, which runs at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park through September 18.
